Hello! We are here in beautiful Northwestern, PA and I have grown up with Amish families in this area most of my life.

In these communities, there are many individuals with true talent and a passion for this quality art form. A number of families have passed these rare skills down for generations. These works-of-art are limited to their geographic locations and here at A Loving Touch we strive to provide an opportunity for customers worldwide to enjoy these fine products.

These are all genuine hand stitched and hand quilted Amish heirloom quality quilts. They are brand new, unused, and from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. These quilts are entirely hand cut and made of 100% cotton. Anywhere from 400-600 hours of superior work goes into each one of these fine quilts. If you check Ebay listings you will see that most handmade quilts are 6, 7, or 8 stitches to the inch, Chinese imports even less. These have at least 10 stitches, and can even have up to 12 stitches per inch! Made to last forever!

To complement our incredible quilts and to provide the same high-quality craftsmanship, we offer these one-of-a-kind Amish-crafted wood pieces. All of the cherry, oak, & hickory items we offer are hand crafted in nearby Ohio, United States by Old Order Amish men. These generational builders work in cooperation with the lumber mills in order to ensure only the highest quality hardwoods are used to create these masterpieces. All of the wood used in the wood-working process are first kiln dried to eliminate the chance of warping; the wood is then joined together using either biscuits or tongue and groove joinery to create larger pieces of lumber. Composite wood or particle board are certainly nowhere to be found in these beauties. They are forged with the sincerest intentions of offering the highest level of quality and craftsmanship. This assures our customers of an heirloom piece that will last for generations to come.
